DESCRIPTION:<p>	 </p><p>	Hendrik Ohnesorge (WSP fall 2022) will present his new edited volume, Soft Power and the Future of U.S. Foreign Policy (Manchester University Press, 2023). <span><span style="sans-serif"><span style="background-color:#ffffff">This volume explores the role of soft power in US foreign policy past, present and future. It addresses vital issue areas – including terrorism threats, foreign economic policy and cultural diplomacy – as well as crucial bilateral relations – including Sino-American, Russian-American and transatlantic. In so doing, it offers an assessment of Joe Biden’s first year in office as well as future perspectives and recommendations regarding the role of soft power in US foreign policy.
