Bio: José Fernández Alonso is an Assistant Researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) and Professor of International Finance at the National University of Rosario (UNR) and International Political Economy at the Catholic University of Santa Fe (UCSF). He received his PhD in International Relations from the National University of Rosario. He was awarded a Fulbright Commission and CONICET scholarship in order to develop a postdoctoral research stay at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. In this context, he will develop a comparative analysis of the strategies executed by national governments in order to recover reputation after a sovereign debt crisis. Specifically, his research will focus on the sovereign debt crisis episodes that have occurred in the XXIst century.
