Bio: Klára Ritz, Born 1975; Doctor of Laws and Political Sciences of Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest (1998), Master in European Law and Economics from Corvinus University, Budapest (2001) and participant in the Advanced Community Law Training Programme of College of Europe, Bruges (2005); lawyer at the Budapest Bar (1998-2003); Associate and Senior Associate at Baker & McKenzie Law Firm, Budapest (2000-2003); Member of the Legal Service of the European Commission since 1 July 2003. She represented the European Commission in more than 160 court cases before the European Court of Justice, Luxembourg, in the field of State aid, anti-dumping, energy law, chemicals, fiscal law, consumer protection, ‘rule of law’ and in related institutional matters.
