Bio: Colonel Matthew Eichburg is a career officer in the United States Army. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point (NY), Colonel Eichburg has advanced degrees from the University of St. Mary, School of Advanced Military Studies, and the U.S. Army War College. He has served in many overseas locations, including in Iraq, Afghanistan, South Korea, and Germany; he has also been assigned twice to Fort Hood, Texas. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his service, among them Legion of Merit (2OLC), Bronze Star (2OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (2OLC). While at Harvard, he will examine international and national security issues, as well as national security strategy and policy.
