Minh Trinh, a Raphael Morrison Dorman Memorial Postdoctoral Fellow, received his PhD in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2022. His research focuses on the inner workings of durable development authoritarian regimes in Vietnam and China. Following his time at the Weatherhead Center, he will join Purdue University as assistant professor in the Department of Political Science.

Research interests: Authoritarian politics; accountability; elections; political behavior of development; and East and Southeast Asia.
