Sandra Boccia is a journalist, media executive, and innovation strategist whose current work examines artificial intelligence as an emerging infrastructure for language, trust, and democratic life. She explores how generative AI is reshaping creativity, civic discourse, the value of human judgment, and the production of public knowledge. Her career spans editorial and strategic leadership across journalism, business, technology, climate, and civic engagement, including senior roles at Editora Globo—part of Globo, one of Latin America’s largest media groups. She founded Um Só Planeta, an internationally recognized climate journalism platform designed to broaden engagement with climate action and has reported from more than forty countries. She was an Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow at Harvard University from 2024–2026 and was recognized as one of Brazil's ten most admired journalists in economics and finance.

**Research Interests:** Comparative forms of intelligence; AI and knowledge infrastructure; global information order; climate transition; and international trust.
