Angélica Márquez-Osuna is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Weatherhead Scholars Program. Her book project explores the history of beekeeping and agriculture in the American tropics, examining how agricultural innovation and technification have shaped human societies and environments. She recently earned a PhD from the Department of History of Science at Harvard University.

Research Interests: Latin America; transnational history; agrarian studies; modernity and innovation in the tropics; environment; history of biology; animal studies; and beekeeping.
