Gal Bitton is an international political economy researcher whose work combines experimental methods with data‐driven analysis. Her research explores how identity cues—such as language, ethnicity, and national markers—trigger in‐group favoritism that influences trust, risk perceptions, and ultimately investment decisions at both the macro and micro levels.
Research interests: International political economy; international relations; finance; culture and identity; foreign policy; political psychology; biases; and political behavior.
